Education and Communities

Spencer Heritage Services has been delivering community consultation and educational activities for over 20 years. We provide meaningful community engagement events and school sessions as well as online resources for mainstream and SEND specialist schools.

Community Consultation

We can provide tailor made community consultation events for your heritage projects. Our events engage the local community to raise awareness of your project, helping to start a dialogue with stakeholders and gain feedback on your proposals.  

Events can be in person and include talks and workshops, or online via a community consultation platform.

Heritage Education and Training 

We believe that all young people should have access to archaeology and heritage education. It really can unearth potential, develop enquiring minds and enrich a child’s learning experience.

We have provided practical archaeology and history sessions in schools across the country for the past 20 years. We have extensive experience in the fields of archaeology, education and heritage education which has informed our session material.

We are now bringing our resources online through our Archaeology Alive website, with the hope of reaching a wider audience.
