Services for Charitable Organisations

Spencer Heritage Services has been involved with Building Preservation Trusts and local history groups for over 15 years. We have helped numerous charities to realise their aims and objectives.

Building Preservation Trusts

Spencer Heritage Services can support your Building Preservation Trust from the outset of your project through to completion. We can guide you through the process of establishing your organisation, producing a strategic plan and governance documentation to comply with the Charity Commission’s Governance Code as well as  applying for charitable status.

We can help to create simple yet effective websites and social media content to help promote your Trust and encourage memberships and donations.

We can also support you through the options appraisal process, undertake community consultation,  produce your conservation management plan and submit the necessary funding applications.

As we have a wealth of experience in supporting customers through the design and planning application process, we can assist with design issues, heritage impact assessment and the Listed Building Consent application.

Local History Groups and Amenity Societies

We are happy to deliver presentations to your local history group or amenity society. We have previously presented to The Women’s Institute, Civic Trusts, Parish Councils and Scout and Guide groups.  We can provide talks about our projects in your local area.
